Chairlift & Kool A.D Cover Beyonce’s “Party”
That headline enough is jizzworthy.
My love for this Bey song has already been documented on here, but i’m almost inclined to pass the torch to this rendition as my favorite. What with the NIP intro, immaculate rendition of all of the elements of the song, the singer who’s sound is a bit hard to swallow but for me is like substituting honey for packet sugar in your earl grey, flava.
Kool A.D’s rhyming style is exactly the off kilter kind of delivery and subject matter that you’d expect/that is necessary for this song to even come close to comparing us Stacks’, which was one of the best of all of last year.
So yes, this is an instagram twinged hipstafied rendition of what was before a summer R&B anthem. Both are lovely for me and my ears.
